Prayer of forgiveness: Istighfaar

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Welcome to my blog and praise the magnificent Lord as you enter: Allahu Akbar: Allah is the Greatest

May the Peace and Blessing of Allah Azza wa Jal, our Lord Glorified and Praised be He, be upon our beloved Prophet, his family, and companions.

Allah, Glorified and Praised be He, is Ghafur(Forgiving) and Raheem(Merciful).

(45. Truly, those who have Taqwa, will dwell in Gardens and water springs.)

 (46. (It will be said to them): “Enter it in peace and security.”)

(47. And We shall remove any deep feeling of bitterness from their breasts. (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.)

(48. No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they be asked to leave it.)

 (49. Declare to My servants that I am truly the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.)

Surah 15 Al-Hijr Verse 45-49

21. Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord, and Paradise the width whereof is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is the grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He is pleased with. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty.

Surah 57 Hadid, Verse 21

Dua Istighfaar: Prayer of Forgiveness

‘O Allaah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am You servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.’

Night-time praise and sunnah rakaats of Fajr

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Welcome to my blog and praise the magnificent Lord as you enter: Allahu Akbar: Allah is the Greatest

May the Peace and Blessing of Allah Azza wa Jal, our Lord Glorified and Praised be He, be upon our beloved Prophet, his family, and companions.

48.So wait patiently for the decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes; and glorify the praises of your Lord when you get up.

49. And in the nighttime also glorify His praises and at the setting of the stars.

Surah 52 Tur, Verse 48 and 49

Whoever gets up at night and says: `La ilaha illallah, He is One without partners. For Him is the kingdom and all praise is due to Him. He has power over all things. Glory be to Allah, and all praise is due to Allah, and La illaha illallah and Allah is Greater. There is neither might nor power except Allah.’ And then says, `O Lord! Forgive me.’ Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to it, and if he intends and performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted.

(And in the nighttime also glorify His praises), meaning remember and worship Allah by reciting the Qur’an and praying at night.

(and at the setting of the stars.) is in reference to the two voluntary Rak`ahs before the Dawn prayer, according to a Hadith from Ibn `Abbas.

These two Rak`ahs are an established Sunnah performed before the stars are about to set. It is confirmed in the Two Sahihs from `A’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said, “The Prophet was never more regular and particular in offering any voluntary prayer than the two (Sunnah) Rak`ahs of the Fajr prayer.” In another narration collected by Muslim, [the Prophet said,]

(Two (Sunnah) Rak`ahs before Fajr are better than this life and all that in it.)

The Creator of Mankind

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Welcome to my blog and praise the magnificent Lord as you enter: Allahu Akbar: Allah is the Greatest

May the Peace and Blessing of Allah Azza wa Jal, our Lord Glorified and Praised be He, be upon our beloved Prophet, his family, and companions.

O mankind! Have Taqwa of your Lord, Who created you from a single person, and from him He created his mate, and from them both He created many men and women, and have Taqwa of Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and revere the wombs. Surely, Allah is always watching over you.

Surah 4 Nisa, Verse 1

21. O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa.

22. Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He alone has the right to be worshipped).

Surah 2 Baqarah, Verse 21 and 22

Taqwa is generally translated as “fear” in the quran. That is fear of doing what displeases Allah  Glorified and Praised be He.

The root meaning of Taqwa is to avoid what one dislikes. It was reported that `Umar bin Al-Khattab asked Ubayy bin Ka`b about Taqwa. Ubayy said, “Have you ever walked on a path that has thorns on it” `Umar said, “Yes.” Ubayy said, “What did you do then” He said, “I rolled up my sleeves and struggled.” Ubayy said, “That is Taqwa.” (www.tafsir.com)

There are) two statements that are light on the tongue, but heavy on the Balance, and most beloved to Ar-Rahman: “Glory be to Allah and with His praise, glory be to Allah the Magnificent.”

He who says, “Glory be to Allah the Magnificent and with His praise!” then a date tree will be planted for him in Paradise. This Hadith was collected by At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa’i; At-Tirmidhi said, “Hasan Gharib.”
